About Pablo Carbonell:

Pablo Carbonell is a visiting scientist at the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology I2SysBio (UV/CSIC) and a professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). Pablo Carbonell leads the Dynamics BioDesign Lab (DBDL) group and the automated biofoundries and intelligent biomanufacturing line at the ai2 Institute (UPV), participating in the working group of the Global Biofoundries Alliance (GBA) and the Microbial Biotechnology group of ELIXIR. Previously, he was a senior scientist at the SYNBIOCHEM Biofoundry at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on the automatic design and predictive modeling of microbial production routes for metabolic engineering and synthetic biology. Pablo has contributed to the development of over 10 synthetic biology design tools, has participated in more than 10 international research projects in the last 5 years, and has published over 75 articles in indexed journals.
