Production of the monoclonal antibody Trastuzumab in Komagataella phaffii (Pichia pastoris) for breast cancer treatment

Trastuzumab is a monoclonal antibody used for targeted breast cancer treatment. The production of the monoclonal antibody, trastuzumab, by the yeast Komagataella phaffii (Pichia pastoris) production system is being studied by INRAE - TWB. The expression of the genes coding heavy and light chain of the antibody is controlled by two ethanol inducible promoters.
